Dan Barnhart, Psy. D.
Dr. Dan Barnhart is a licensed clinical psychologist offering telehealth therapy for adults in Michigan and Wyoming. Practicing independently since 2022, Dr. Barnhart provides flexible afternoon appointments to make therapy accessible and convenient.
He earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College in 2021 and has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Dr. Barnhart’s ideal clients are self-motivated and curious individuals who are ready to learn, grow, and develop the insight and skills needed to create meaningful change in their lives.
Dr. Barnhart has extensive experience helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, and trauma. He also has special interests in identity development, self-esteem, and issues related to faith, religion, and spirituality. For clients who desire it, he is happy to integrate faith-based perspectives into therapy in a way that honors each person’s values and beliefs.
Therapeutically, Dr. Barnhart draws from a psychodynamic and insight-oriented approach. He helps clients explore how their past experiences have shaped their present, and together, they work toward understanding, healing, and the ability to author a more fulfilling future.
